Classic Car Cruise Night (Presented by PowerTest)
The cruise will line up at Maple Avenue School starting at 5 p.m. and end at the Civic Center on Main Street. If you are participating in the cruise, please stay in your vehicle so that we can ensure social distancing.
Live music from 6 to 8 p.m. by Borderline Reckless.
Classic Car Owners: There is no fee to cruise. Line up by 5:30 p.m. at Maple Avenue School. Classic cars not participating in the cruise can participate in the car show on Main Street in front of the Civic Center beginning at 6 p.m.

Picture Day
Monday, May 24th & Tuesday, May25th LifeTouch will be back to take professional pictures of all children. There is no need to sign up, but let us know if you would like to opt out of taking your child(ren)'s picture. We will provide more details regarding which day will be designated for your child's age group as we get closer to those dates.
Sussex Area Rummage Sale
Participate in the Sussex Area Rummage Sale and reduce clutter around the house.
Fee: $5 per Location
For the low cost of $5, your rummage sale will be included on the Sussex-Area Rummage Listing containing the location of each sale and a short description of items for sale. The deadline to secure a spot on the listing is April 7. The map and address listing will be available at the Sussex Civic Center and online beginning April 26.
Arbor Day Celebration & Tree Giveaway
The Village of Sussex has officially been designated a Tree City!
The Village of Sussex has officially been designated a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation! To celebrate, we are hosting a FREE Arbor Day event at The Grove at Village Park.
The event will include a live tree planting, “Ask the Arborist” with Certified Arborists from Wachtel Tree Science, Inc., kid’s activities and a tree giveaway. The first 200 participants will receive either a Redbud or a Scarlet Oak sapling to plant at home.

Scholastic Book Fair
We are so excited to partner with Scholastic to provide parents an opportunity shop for books right at our center!
Spring StoryWalk Begins
A StoryWalk® takes a children's book and spreads its pages across a nature trail to allow families to experience a story and the outdoors together.
The StoryWalk® begins at the trail south of the Village Park tennis courts.
